Rear SumoSprings are a maintenance-free suspension enhancement built to create a better journey. Handmade from micro-cellular polyurethane, they are designed to reduce rear-end sag and increase load carrying ability while decreasing vibration, stabilizing sway, and softening harsh rebounds.
The SSR-209-54 has a 2,800 lb capacity when compressed at 50%. The Yellow SumoSprings shouldn’t be compressed past 55% of their original height in order to keep full memory rebound.
Please Note: SuperSprings International products are specifically designed for vehicles equipped with factory suspension. We cannot guarantee their compatibility with aftermarket products or parts. For questions about fitment on your specific vehicle, please contact us.

As a welder, with approximately 800 pounds in the bed of my Sierra 1500, the rear yellow sumo springs lifted my rear end completely, eliminating body roll. It made the truck feel significantly more comfortable while taking corners on country backroads. When I added the front helper springs, the only thing I can say is if you don’t have them, you’re missing out. 10/5 stars 100%
I utilize the SumoSprings (Heavy Duty) on a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado with 120k+ Miles, an ARE truck topper, long distance road travel and towing/hauling at max GVWR. I have utilized ‘leaf helpers’ on previous work trucks, but this is far better for a daily driver. The body roll/‘Cadillac’ sway is removed and the feeling of a stabilized rear end (towing with a weight distribution hitch) is very noticeable and desired. When loading the rear end, you don’t get the hard bump stop feel and bottoming out to the ‘pig’/rear end as with a stock bump stop. I utilize the SumoSprings on the rear and the Coil SumoSprings on the front. It will change the trucks feel and ride to a much more desirable ride, if you tow/haul and just as a daily driver. I’d recommend these products to anyone with novice installation experience and as a ‘must have’ upgrade for the life of a truck, out of the box/factory. Worry free; Always nice when traveling and towing/hauling for a long 4+ hour trip away from home. *Great product with easy installation and maintenance free.
