Rear SumoSprings are a maintenance-free suspension enhancement built to create a better journey. Handmade from micro-cellular polyurethane, they are designed to reduce rear-end sag and increase load carrying ability while decreasing vibration, stabilizing sway, and softening harsh rebounds.
The SSR-307-47 has a 1,500 lb capacity when compressed at 50%. The Black SumoSprings shouldn’t be compressed past 65% of their original height in order to keep full memory rebound.
Please Note: SuperSprings International products are specifically designed for vehicles equipped with factory suspension. We cannot guarantee their compatibility with aftermarket products or parts. For questions about fitment on your specific vehicle, please contact us.

Makes a huge difference when hauling a heavy load
Due to an unfortunate event, we had to replace our old camper with a new one. After shopping for several weeks we finally decided on one but knew we needed to beef up the rear end of our truck. The new camperbwas kout 3000lbs heavier and we were really trying to avoid having to replace the truck also. After researching helper bags, air bags and stiffer springs, we ran across several videos/ads about SumoSprings. The RV dealership by our house even had mentioned them. The tounge weight of the new camper was pushing 1000lbs and with just the weight distro hitch, my factory bump stops were only a mere 1" from the axle. I've learned that several years ago, Ram moved to coil springs on the rear instead of leaf springs. So I decided to go with the the 47's. Install was a pain on some bolts and a breeze on the others. Made things much easier once I decided to remove the tire. Before installing the Sumo Springs, I took a measurement of the rear wheelwell for reference. The springs did raise the wheelwell about .25". Barely noticeable. I drove around town for about 2 weeks before out next camping trip and noticed that there was not as much play or give in the rear end. It felt stiffer. Once we loaded up the camper and took off down the road, that's when I noticed that the squat of my truck was reduced by about 1-2". The ride was also noticeably smoother as well. I liked them so much on the truck, I'm debating putting them on my camper. Seen several videos of ppl that have done so and they loved it.
Fantastic product, makes my Ram 1500 even better when hauling a load or a trailer
Installed the sumo springs on my 2019 ram had problem with the rear end sagging even with weight distribution hitch because the leveling kit the dodge dealership put under the front end was 3” instead of 2” the rear was lower than the front with the sumo springs it picked the rear end up and did away with the sag when camper is hooked up don’t notice much difference in ride till the camper is behind it it’s a better ride
Easy to install. Great alternative to original bump stop for towing 8000 lb trailer.
I have had these on my truck for about 8 months and while I love the extra stability they give me while towing my boat unfortunately all but 3 of the 16 bracket studs broke off after less than a year of use. Not sure if I received defective brackets or not but supersprings customer service made it right for me and sent new brackets with no questions asked. Other than this issue the sumo springs have been great for towing.
