Rear SumoSprings are a maintenance-free suspension enhancement built to create a better journey. Handmade from micro-cellular polyurethane, they are designed to reduce rear-end sag and increase load carrying ability while decreasing vibration, stabilizing sway, and softening harsh rebounds.
The SSR-106-47-1 has a 5,000 lb capacity when compressed at 50%. The Black SumoSprings shouldn’t be compressed past 65% of their original height in order to keep full memory rebound.
Please Note: SuperSprings International products are specifically designed for vehicles equipped with factory suspension. We cannot guarantee their compatibility with aftermarket products or parts. For questions about fitment on your specific vehicle, please contact us.

Great product
*Update* I completed a 500 mile trip in my sumospring equipped class c motorhome and I am very pleased with the performance! The tail wag is gone. I still feel the effects of passing trucks pushing air against the coach but it continues to track straight and recovers quickly. I let my brother drive the return trip and he described my motorhome as the best handling motorhome he has ever driven! Roadmaster anti-sway bars front and rear and SumoSprings front and rear together created and outstanding driving experience. Thanks again Super Springs!!!
Before purchasing I scoured the internet for weeks hoping to find reviews pertaining to sumospring installations on E450 motorhomes. I found several F53 installations reviewed but nothing for the E450. So here's an E450 review for future purchasers seeking to improve upon the antiquate suspension in their class c motorhomes. Excellent customer service and salesman ship were my first impression when speaking directly with a supersprings rep about which sumosprings to purchase. We traded emails for a couple days as he asnwered all my questions and then let me decide if their product solves the E450 dilema. Ultimately I purchased the black solos for the front and black maxims for the rear as recommended by the rep. My rear axle weights are 3700 lbs front and 8100 lbs rear in a 2003 E450 Lazy Daze 26.5 foot. The installation was easy. I did not even remove the wheels! I used my 3 ton jack on the frame just forward of the forward leaf spring attachment bracket to raise the frame enough to facilitate drilling the required holes. My frame was missing two holes on either side of the vehicle so drill pilot holes and be prepared with extra 3/8 drill bits for when you break one stepping up the holes. Start to finish the installation took about three hours to accomplish in my driveway in the dark. Now for the good stuff. Prior installing sumospring I had already upgraded my front and rear anti-sway bars and replaced most of my steering linkages but the vehicle still wandered a little on the straight stretches and leaned on the twisty bits. There was even a bit of residual tail wag leftover. After installing front and rear sumosprings the handling is transformed. The steering is more responsive and the lean is gone! I also drove a bunch of figure eight maneuvers in a parking lot and the thing is much more compliant. It just transitions from full left to full right and back again without wallowing. With the stiffer suspension I think I can finally reduce my rear tire pressure a bit. I've been running at 80 psi to keep sidewall flex from contributing to the horrible E450 handling. I'm glad that I didn't puchase the -54 (yellow) sumosprings because it believe those would have over stiffened the suspension. Maybe if your class c is 30+ feet the yellow springs will be okay but if you are mid 20 feet the -47 (black) springs are perfect. If you are contemplating purchasing sumosprings or are having difficulty deciding between these and air bags my recommendation is to purchase the sumosprings. You will be pleased with their performance and how the compliment the stock suspension and your other suspension modifications.
