Gil/Jimmy, thanks for the posts. This type of custom application is becoming more popular. We intend on developing more “builders’ kits” for custom applications, but do not have finished kits available yet. That said, we do have the parts and have, and will, help get you a product that will help. Most of the custom applications I have helped with have used our SumoSprings Solo springs with spacers. Spacers come in different sizes 1/4″ to 2″. The solo is only attached on one side, so there is no limitation. If you can get the spring within a half inch, or better, pre-loaded a half inch, that is ideal. 5″ tall spring, with a 2″ spacers should be a good fit.
