Every SumoSpring is handmade with care, making each one unique with its own natural characteristics, such as slight color variations and surface bubbles, proof of the craftsmanship that goes into every piece.

Rear SumoSprings are a maintenance-free suspension enhancement built to create a better journey. Handmade from micro-cellular polyurethane, they are designed to reduce rear-end sag and increase load carrying ability while decreasing vibration, stabilizing sway, and softening harsh rebounds.

The SSR-301-47-2 has a 5,000 lb capacity when compressed at 50%. The Black SumoSprings shouldn’t be compressed past 65% of their original height in order to keep full memory rebound.

i have a 2019 Ram 3500 6.4L Hemi SRW. I bought the SumoSprings because my truck has a harsh unloaded ride, but mostly because I have a truck box camper and the rear sag and tipsy feeling didnt make it a very confident drive. Researching options (air bag vs overload springs vs SumoSprings) for improvement led me here. Its a lot of money for rubber - doesnt appear to be anything special. Its not adjustable like air bags and frankly, i've never tried air bags to be able to make a comparison. The SumoSprings came with incorrect hardware for my truck - the Ubolts were not big enough to go around my axle. A quick run to HomeDepot for proper hardware and I was off to the races with a 30minute install. I was surprised to find that the two halves of the springs do not touch at all unloaded. Like - not even close - maybe an inch or so apart and so they do nothing until you load the truck. Dropping the camper into the box was much better, but there was still a noticeable sag - likely because they start so far apart to begin with. The ride improvement was now acceptable. So were they worth it? Final verdict - yes. My frustration is more with Ram than SumoSprings. The truck should be capable of hauling my camper without shelling out this kind of money. But after spending as much as I did for something so unimposing, to have it perform under expectations and to have to supply pieces of my own hardware only added to the frustration.
