Hello there,
I have a 2017 Toyota Tacoma and cannot decide between the SSR-610-40 or the SSR-610-47. The trailer and car I will be towing periodically will be maximum of 5000 pounds. That is the trailer and the car. Add a car jack and possibly wheels and tires into the bed and I will maybe be around 5500 pounds at most. Which part number would you recommend? Would it decrease ride quality when not towing?
Thanks,

The spring rate is progressive, so the unloaded initial compression is softer than when weight is applied and compression goes further with greater resistance. The difference between the two springs is 500 pounds, 250 per side. If you are concerned about carrying the weight, I would recommend the -47. This will generate a tighter handling feeling and reduce sway while unloaded and around turns, and give you additional load support when you tow. Hope this helps!

Who did you purchase from on Amazon? From Amazon or a third party seller on Amazon? If there are any questions about it, please give us a call. Sorry for the delayed response because of the Thanksgiving Holiday.
