What are SuperSprings?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Okay so as a quick recap, the SuperSpring is our namesake product<\/a>. It\u2019s a bolt-on steel helper spring designed to add spring rate to the existing leaf pack on your vehicle. This is an \\’add-a-leaf\\’ alternative. SuperSprings are designed to eliminate rear-end sag and reduce body roll. The SuperSprings include a unique self-adjusting roller bolt on each end. This allows which allows the spring to adjust as the load on your vehicle varies. So, as the vehicle gets heavier, the SuperSprings work harder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What are SumoSprings?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The SumoSprings are micro-cellular polyurethane springs<\/a> that mount where the factory bump stop goes. It\u2019s a progressive spring that provides shock absorption, vibration reduction, softens harsh rebounds, and also assists in providing load support. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both the SuperSprings and the SumoSprings are maintenance-free and come with a lifetime warranty. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When Should You Consider Both?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

So when should you think about adding both products to your setup? I want to be clear that this isn\u2019t always a necessary option. Most vehicles usually need either the SuperSpring or the SumoSpring. This is based on the particular setup and what you plan to use the vehicle for. But there are times when it\u2019s good to consider using both. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A couple examples of this would be with RVs. If the van or coach is built out really heavy it will need the support of the SuperSprings. But there\u2019s still a need for the ride comfort and vibration reduction of the SumoSprings. We\u2019ve seen this with heavy Class C motorhomes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019ve also seen the combination be an effective solution for the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans, with a heavy build out and especially when owners want to take their van off-grid. The SuperSpring brings the van back to level so there\u2019s no sagging or dropping onto the rear wheels, as well as taking away unwanted body roll. The SumoSprings then work to give you a much quieter ride with vibration reduction, damping, and softening any harsh rebounds \u2013 especially when overlanding and off-road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
